Save some energy for yourself this season

Join me November 8 at 7pm Eastern for a virtual workshop on protecting your energy.

Dear Friends,

As we head into the holiday season, I've been thinking about how much energy we give to others and how important it is to save some for ourselves. Between busy schedules, family gatherings, and the grief that can surface when we least expect it, this time of year can bring a mix of emotions.

I'd love for you to join me next Sunday, November 8 at 7pm Eastern time for the second of my three-part virtual workshop series, Facing Life's Challenges & Loss.

We'll explore simple, everyday tools for building resilience, from leaning on our "Sunshine People" (the ones who lift us up!) and asking for support to setting boundaries and being more intentional about where we put our energy.

Whether you're navigating grief, change, or simply the demands of everyday life, I hope you'll join me and make a little time for yourself.

A WEEK OF CONNECTION 🦋

This week, I'm heading to Las Vegas for the Not Alone Summit & Awards, bringing together voices committed to mental health, healing, and hope. I'll be moderating a conversation with Harry Hudson, a singer-songwriter, cancer survivor and advocate for young people facing cancer, and will also be joining several podcast discussions.

I'm grateful for every opportunity to connect, share our stories, and continue changing the conversation around grief and moving forward with purpose.

WHAT I'M LOVING

I've been loving the book Season of the Witch: A Psychiatrist's Case for Magic by Ellen Vora, MD. Her exploration of intuition, mystery, and healing really resonates with me, especially the importance of staying open to signs, one of my Five Actions Through Grief.

REIMAGINING GRIEF: A New Path to Finding Healing, Strength and Joy After Loss.

For those who are new here, my book, Reimagining Grief: A New Path to Finding Healing, Strength and Joy After Loss, shares the tools that helped me navigate my own losses and find a way forward.

It's not about moving on from grief, but learning how to move through it, making room for connection, purpose, and joy along the way.

I hope to see you at next Sunday's workshop! And if you know someone who could use a little extra support this season, please share this invitation.

With love and gratitude,

Kate 🦋
