Reimagining Grief: Cover Reveal & Pre-order

The book I wish I’d had — cover reveal and preorder inside.

Dear friends,

I’m so thrilled (and honestly very emotional) to finally share this with you:

My book, Reimagining Grief, with a very special foreword by my friend Jenna Bush Hager, is launching June 16, 2026. Today, I get to reveal the cover for the very first time and share a link to pre-order the book!

This book has been years in the making. It was written from lived experience, from heartbreak, from healing, and from the moments when we were searching for a way forward.

What Reimagining Grief Is about:

An inspiring guide that reimagines the stages of grief into five healing actions. This is the book I couldn't find but needed when I faced my own losses.

Over six years, I lost my father to heart failure, my mother in a car accident five days before Christmas, and my sixteen-year-old daughter Penny to complications from a rare genetic condition. After Penny’s death, I reached a crossroads: I could lose myself to a grief so powerful I might not come back from it — or I could search for another way through.

Reimagining Grief is the result of that search.

Drawing from my own experience, the latest research, and conversations with others who have faced devastating loss, this book offers five healing actions that can help ground you when you feel out of control, lift you when you’re depleted, and support you as you move through the pain of loss — at your own pace, in your own way.

This is the book I wish I’d had.

In this book, you’ll learn:

☀️ Why there isn’t one “right” way to grieve- and how to find your own path

☀️ A compassionate approach to saying goodbye that honors both you and your loved one

☀️ The Five Actions Through Grief and how to use them:

  1. Connect with Others

  2. Celebrate Your Loved Ones

  3. Be Open to the Signs

  4. Get Moving

  5. Turn Pain into Purpose

☀️ What post-traumatic growth really looks like

☀️ How to find joy again

These actions won’t make grief disappear, but they offer some light in the darkness and a healing way forward. Below is the link to pre-order so that you can be the first to read it when it comes out in just a few months.

Looking Ahead

This feels like the beginning of such a meaningful year - not just for this book, but for all the work ahead with in-person and virtual workshops, speaking engagements and of course, continued growth and impact with Penny’s Flight!

As we lean into 2026, I’m doing it the only way I know how- heart first. 💛
